No evidence for any of the signal modes is found, and upper limits spanning the range of $0.6\times10^{-9}$ to $5.4\times10^{-7}$ at the $95\%$ confidence level are set on their branching fractions, depending on the intermediate-particle masses and lifetimes. In addition, mass-integrated limits across the intermediate-particle lifetime ranges considered in this analysis are determined.

The corresponding branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0}η)= (7.5 \pm 0.3 \pm 0.8) \times 10^{-5}$ and $\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686) \to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0}η)= (1.3\pm 0.1 \pm 0.1) \times 10^{-5}$, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical, and the second systematic. The ratio $\text{Q} \approx \frac{\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686) \to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0} η)}{\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0} η)}$ is determined to be $(17.3 \pm 1.5 \pm 1.7)\%$, which is con sistent with the 12\%-rule within 3.0$σ$.~No significant intermediate states or threshold enhancements are observed in the $Σ^0$($\barΣ^{0}$)$η$ and $Σ^0$$\barΣ^{0}$ invariant mass spectra.

Based on a data sample of 10 billion $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the Dalitz decay $Σ^0 \rightarrow Λe^+e^-$ is studied experimentally for the first time. The $Σ^0$ hyperons are produced through the process $J/ψ\rightarrow Σ^0\barΣ^0$ and analyzed using a double-tag method. The absolute branching fraction is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(Σ^0 \rightarrow Λe^+e^-) = (6.34 \pm 0.25_{\rm stat.} \pm 0.23_{\rm syst.}) \times 10^{-3}$. This result shows a $2σ$ discrepancy from the theoretical calculation quoted in the PDG, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. In addition to the branching fraction, the transition magnetic moment $μ$ is determined to be $(1.74 \pm 0.03_{\rm stat.} \pm 0.09_{\rm syst.})\,μ_N$, where $μ_N=e/(2m_p)$ represents the nucleon magnetic moment, providing valuable insight into the intrinsic structure of the $Σ^0$ hyperon.

We present a search for Magnetic and Spin-Independent inelastic Dark Matter using 2.1 tonne-years of data from the XENONnT experiment. We consider both single- and double-site event topologies, targeting the unique signature of an initial nuclear recoil followed by a delayed de-excitation photon. To suppress backgrounds, we introduce novel directional and kinematic selections based on the inferred speed and direction of the excited dark matter particle between the scatter and decay sites. We find that the collected data are consistent with background expectations, and report 90% C.L. upper limits for both models across the GeV/c2-TeV/c2 mass range.

The $C\!P$-violating phase, $φ_{s}$, the direct $C\!P$-violation parameter, $\left|λ\right|$, and the decay width of the heavy mass eigenstate in the $B^{0}_{s}$ system, $Γ_{\mathrm{ H}}$, are measured respectively to be $φ_{s} = -0.077 \pm 0.034 \pm 0.007\,\text{rad}$, $\left|λ\right| = 0.993 \pm 0.026 \pm 0.007$ and $Γ_{\mathrm{ H}} = 0.610 \pm 0.002 \pm 0.004\,\text{ps}^{-1}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. These results are consistent with previous measurements and the expectation based on the Standard Model. The combination with previous measurements in $B^{0}_{s} \!\to J/ψπ^{+}π^{-}$ decays using $7\,\text{TeV}$ and $8\,\text{TeV}$ proton-proton collision data yields $φ_{s} = -0.046 \pm 0.031\,\text{rad}$, $\left|λ\right| = 0.975 \pm 0.024$ and $Γ_{\mathrm{ H}} = 0.610 \pm 0.004\,\text{ps}^{-1}$, while the combination including all other LHCb measurements gives $φ_{s} = -0.041 \pm 0.017\,\text{rad}$.

The transition form factor is extracted from the differential Born cross section of the two-photon fusion processes $e^+e^- \to e^+e^-γγ^* \to e^+e^-η^\prime$ using a single-tag technique, where only one scattered lepton is detected. The measurement covers $Q^2 \in [0.1, 6.0]$ GeV$^2$, achieving unprecedented precision, better than $3.0\%$ for $Q^2 < 1.5$ GeV$^2$, and providing the first direct determination at $Q^2 < 0.3$ GeV$^2$.

This analysis is based on $pp$ collision data recorded with the LHCb detector in 2011-2012, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3\,\text{fb}^{-1}$. Quasi-two-body $C\!P$ violation in $B^+ \!\to ρ(770)^0 K^+$ decays is discovered, while $C\!P$ violation at amplitude level is established in $B^+ \!\to f_2(1270) K^+$ decays. First evidence for $C\!P$ violation is reported in both the fully elastic S-wave $ππ$-$ππ$ rescattering region and also for any decay involving a spin-3 resonance. Additionally, significant $C\!P$-violation effects are identified in the interference between different $ππ$ partial waves, with observation in S-P wave interference and evidence in S-D wave interference, both of which must be driven by long-distance interactions.

An amplitude analysis of $B^+ \!\to K^+ π^+ π^-$ decays is presented, based on $pp$ collision data recorded with the LHCb detector in 2011--2012, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3\,\text{fb}^{-1}$. Previous studies of the $B \!\to K ππ$ sector have left key unresolved questions concerning the model of the S-wave contributions. A pivotal finding is that relaxing unitarity-based assumptions about the relation between the $K^*_0(1430)^0$ resonance and the slowly varying scalar part in $K^+π^-$ leads to considerably better agreement between the model and data. The $B^+ \!\to K^*_0(1430)^0 π^+$ branching fraction now challenges the experimental consensus that $B \!\to K^*_0(1430) π$ decays dominate the $B \!\to K ππ$ phase space, aligning with the predictions of QCD factorisation rather than perturbative QCD, thus reversing the agreement found in previous measurements. With this increased flexibility, it also becomes possible to model the scalar $π^+ π^-$ amplitude using established states, eliminating the need for the ad-hoc ``$f_X(1300)$'' component included in previous analyses of the $B \!\to Kππ$ sector. These advances facilitate the discovery of ten intermediate decays.

The branching fractions and quasi-two-body $C\!P$-violating asymmetries of intermediate states obtained through an amplitude analysis of the charmless three-body decay $B^+ \!\to K^+ π^+ π^-$ are reported. The analysis is based on $pp$ collision data at centre-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=7$ and $8\,\text{TeV}$ recorded with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3\,\text{fb}^{-1}$. The most challenging aspect of the amplitude modelling lies in the description of the dominant $K^+ π^-$ and $π^+ π^-$ S-wave contributions. This is achieved by three complementary approaches based on a physically motivated analytic model built on the isobar approximation, the K-matrix formalism, and a quasi-model-independent procedure in which overlapping crossing partial waves are simultaneously studied. In addition, alternative sets of results are presented, considering the $π^+ π^-$ final state to manifest either through direct $ω(782)$ decays or $ρ(770)^0\textrm{-}ω(782)$ mixing. The most precise measurements of branching fractions and $C\!P$ asymmetries are obtained for the vast majority of intermediate states, establishing firmer reference points against which to cleanly probe model-independent physics beyond the Standard Model. The results from all three approaches agree and provide new insight into strong dynamics and the origin of $C\!P$-violation effects in $B^+ \!\to K^+ π^+ π^-$ decays.

The amplitudes are constructed from Legendre polynomials in the $μ^+μ^-$ invariant mass squared region $1.1<q^2<8.0$ GeV$^2/c^4$. $C\!P$-averaged observables are obtained from the amplitudes. Some of these observables present deviations with respect to the Standard Model, which can be interpreted as shifts in the effective Wilson coefficients. This model-independent approach enables tests of theoretical predictions that can help disentangle hadronic effects from potential contributions from physics beyond the Standard Model. This allows flexibility in the choice of $q^2$ binning for global analyses. Depending on the binning scheme, the deviation of the Wilson coefficient $C_9$ from its Standard Model expectation varies from $4.3σ$ to $4.8σ$.

The Electron-Ion Collider in China (EicC), a cutting-edge facility under development, aims to unveil the internal structure of nucleons and nuclei by leveraging collisions of high-intensity polarized electrons and ions (polarized protons, polarized deuterons, polarized $^{3}$He, and unpolarized heavy ions up to Uranium) at center-of-mass energies of 15-20 GeV and luminosity of (2-4)$\times 10^{33}$cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. Its primary physics objectives include 3D tomography of nucleon spin and momentum structure, fundamental questions regarding the origin of nucleon mass, partonic structure of nuclei and parton interactions with the nuclear environment, and exploration of exotic hadronic states. In this paper, we review the physics potential of the EicC and highlight its unique capabilities for advancing precision nucleon structure studies by combining its specialized kinematic coverage and high luminosity. Since traditional topics like 3D nucleon structure have already been well-covered by several extensive reviews, we have deliberately dedicated significant space to recent progress in nucleon mass decomposition, nucleon energy-energy correlation, quantum information, and artificial intelligence applications in high-energy nuclear physics, which have been emerging rapidly and attracted a tremendous amount of attention in the community.

The \mbox{$D_{s1}(2536)^+\to D_s^+π^+π^-$} branching fraction is measured for the first time, with the $D_{s1}(2536)^+\to D^+K^+π^-$ decay used as a reference. A simultaneous amplitude analysis of the $D_{s1}(2460)^+$ and $D_{s1}(2536)^+\to D_s^+π^+π^-$ decays is performed. The Dalitz-plot distributions of the two decays are found to be significantly different, suggesting differences in the internal structure of the two states, with evidence of exotic contributions to the $D_{s}^+π^{\pm}$ channel with the pole below the $DK$ threshold. Measurements of the masses of the $D_{s1}(2460)^+$ and $D_{s1}(2536)^+$ states are performed, and an upper limit on the $D_{s1}(2460)^+$ width is set.

Quantum noise, arising from the quantisation of electromagnetic field, has been a limiting noise source for current gravitational wave (GW) detectors. Squeezed vacuum modifies quantum fluctuations and has been routinely employed. To reduce quantum noise, the current solution is to combine squeezed vacuum with a detuned over-coupled optical cavity (filter cavity) to achieve frequency-dependent squeezing (FDS). The sensitivity to GW signals can be decomposed into a noise budget. Depending on the detector configuration, the contribution from noise sources other than quantum noise can be significant. In particular, suspension noise from multi-stage pendulums is a key factor in quantum-noise reduction design. In the context of KAGRA post-O5, we have compared quantum noise reduction schemes, frequency-independent squeezing (FIS), FDS with a filter cavity (FC), FDS with an amplitude filter cavity (AFC), FDS with a frequency-dependent beam splitter (FDBS) and EPR scheme. The FC scheme was found to outperform the AFC and FDBS schemes at all frequencies. It was found that FIS scheme gives the largest Binary Neutron Star (BNS) range when low frequency noise is dominated by classical noise, while the FC scheme gives the largest BNS range when low-frequency noise becomes dominated by quantum noise. Optimised filter cavity parameters could substantially improve the BNS range. This would allow at least 23% increase in the detection rate for an 85 m filter cavity, compared with using FIS scheme. Once a filter cavity is constructed with optimised parameters, refining its detuning can fully compensate for the variations in arm power (from half to full design value) and for different intra-cavity loss conditions. The EPR scheme performs best for the detection of heavy binary systems.

This Early Science Report from the ePIC Collaboration outlines the compelling physics program achievable during the first years of operation of the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC), prior to the establishment of the full design luminosity and energy range. The analyses are based on realistic early-running beam configurations and detailed Geant4 ePIC detector simulations, hit digitization and data reconstruction. The projected studies from the physics working groups of ePIC span inclusive, semi-inclusive, exclusive, diffractive and tagging, as well as jet and heavy flavor measurements in both electron-proton and electron-ion collisions. Even before the collider reaches its full design performance, these measurements will constrain parton distribution functions in nucleons and nuclei, access transverse-momentum-dependent and spin-dependent observables, probe gluon dynamics in nuclei, and initiate a program of imaging of quarks and gluons. Each measurement is directly connected to the core science pillars of the EIC, identified in the 2018 report by the National Academy of Sciences: understanding the origin of the nucleon mass, unraveling the spin structure of the nucleon, and exploring the emergent properties of dense gluonic matter. The results presented here provide examples that demonstrate that the early years of EIC running with ePIC will deliver novel world-leading insights into Quantum Chromodynamics. In addition, the early science program will establish measurement and analysis methodologies that will pave the way to the subsequent full EIC physics program.

The production rates of $\mathitΥ(2S)$ and $\mathitΥ(3S)$ mesons relative to that of the $\mathitΥ(1S)$ state are measured in $pp$, $p$O, and OO collisions by the LHCb collaboration. The ratios measured in $pp$ data are consistent with previous LHCb measurements at different center-of-mass energies. Only slight relative suppression of the $\mathitΥ(2S)$ and $\mathitΥ(3S)$ states is found in $p$O collisions, while in OO collisions the $\mathitΥ(2S)$ is suppressed by a factor of $\sim2$, with evidence for suppression of the $\mathitΥ(3S)$. The significant suppression in OO data, compared to the small effect in $p$O data, shows the emergence of additional suppression mechanisms in the relatively small OO collision system. Models incorporating quark-gluon plasma formation in OO collisions successfully describe the data. Implications for the interplay between cold nuclear matter effects and color screening in a deconfined quark-gluon plasma are discussed.

The ratios of the decay widths between muon and positron channels are examined in full, across several four-momentum transfer ranges of $\ell^+ν_{\ell}$. No lepton flavor universality violation is found in the current data. From a simultaneous fit to the precisely measured partial decay rates and the first measured forward-backward asymmetries of these four decays, the product of the hadronic transition form factor, $f^{D\toπ}_+(0)$, and the modulus of the $c\to d$ quark mixing element, $|V_{cd}|$, is measured with unprecedented precision to be $f^{D\toπ}_+(0)|V_{cd}|=0.1425\pm0.0005_{\rm stat.}\pm0.0003_{\rm syst.}$. Taking the value of $|V_{cd}|$ from the standard model global fit and $f^{D\toπ}_+(0)$ derived by the lattice quantum chromodynamics calculation as input, we obtain $f^{D\toπ}_+(0)=0.1425\pm0.0005_{\rm stat.}\pm0.0003_{\rm syst.}$ and $|V_{cd}|=0.2262\pm0.0008_{\rm stat.}\pm0.0005_{\rm syst.}\pm0.0018_{\rm LQCD.}$, respectively. The precision of each result is a factor of 2-3 better than the previous best measurements. Additionally, the real and imaginary parts of the scalar current contribution in the $c\to d \ell^+ν_{\ell}$ transition are measured for the first time to be Re $(C_S^μ)=$ $0.022 \pm 0.023_{\rm stat.}\pm 0.003_{\rm syst.}$ and $|\mathrm{Im} (C_S^μ)|=0.000 \pm 0.038_{\rm stat.}\pm 0.012_{\rm syst.}$.

By fitting the dressed cross sections of $e^+e^-\to K_S^0\barΞ^+Σ^-+\rm{c.c.}$ with the assumption of a power-law function plus a charmonium(-like) resonance, i.e. $ψ(3770)$, $ψ(4040)$, $ψ(4160)$, $Y(4230)$, $Y(4360)$, $ψ(4415)$, {\it Y}(4500), $Y(4660)$, and {\it Y}(4710), no significant signal of any charmonium(-like) state decaying into the $K_S^0\barΞ^+Σ^-+\rm{c.c.}$ is observed. Upper limits on the product of the electronic width and branching fraction at the 90\% confidence level are given for each resonance. Combining this result with the previous measurement of the isospin-symmetric process $e^+e^-\to K^{-} \barΞ^{+} Σ^{0} + \rm{c.c.}$, the ratio of the Born cross sections, $R=σ^{B}(e^+e^-\to K_S^0\barΞ^+Σ^-+\rm{c.c.})/$$σ^{B}(e^+e^-\to K^-\barΞ^+Σ^0+\rm{c.c.})$, is found to be approximately 1.

A search for charge-parity ($C\!P$) violation in the Cabibbo-suppressed $D^+ \to φπ^+$ decay is presented, using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $6\text{ fb}^{-1}$, collected at a centre-of-mass energy of $13\text{ TeV}$ with the LHCb detector during Run 2. An abundant sample of $D^+ \to K_{\rm S}^0 π^+$ decays is employed to correct for asymmetries arising from the production of the charmed meson and from detection effects associated with the charged pion accompanying the $φ$ meson. Asymmetries induced by interference of multiple processes, such as neutral kaon mixing, regeneration of neutral kaons, and interference between the Cabibbo-favoured $D^+ \to \overline{K}^0 π^+$ and the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed $D^+ \to {K}^0 π^+$ decay, are subtracted. The direct $C\!P$ asymmetry in the $D^+ \to φπ^+$ decay is measured to be \begin{equation*} a_{C\!P}(D^+ \to φπ^+) = \left(0.1 \pm 4.9\text{ (stat)} \pm 2.4\text{ (syst)} \right)\times 10^{-4}. \end{equation*} For the first time at a hadron collider, the modulus of the ratio and the relative strong phase of the $D^+ \to {K}^0 π^+$ to $D^+ \to \overline{ K}^0 π^+$ decay amplitudes are also investigated. Two-dimensional confidence intervals are reported for these parameters.

The relative phase between the time-like form factors of the proton is a crucial observable for a complete understanding of its internal structure, yet it has remained unmeasured due to the formidable experimental challenge of determining the final-state polarization or having available polarized beams. With a novel technique that measures polarization via secondary scattering on spectrometer material, we use $10.09\times10^{9}$ $J/ψ$ events collected at BESIII to analyze the reaction $e^+e^-\rightarrow J/ψ\rightarrow p\bar{p}$. This allows the first determination of the sine of the relative phase between the proton psionic form factors, $\sinΔΦ=-0.20\pm0.34_{\textrm{stat}}\pm0.11_{\textrm{syst}}$. This result provides the first direct insight into the complex dynamics of proton formation, and offers valuable new information to constrain theoretical models of nucleon structure.

To address the demanding operational requirements of the High-Luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC), the ATLAS experiment is replacing its current Inner Detector with a new all-silicon Inner Tracker (ITk). The ITk will feature an active area of 165 m2, with its outer tracking layers populated by approximately 18,000 ATLAS18 n+-in-p silicon strip sensors. The silicon sensors, available in eight geometries tailored to two barrel and six endcap types, respectively, are designed to tolerate fluences of up to 1.6 x 10^15 neq/cm2 and ionizing doses of 66 Mrad. A comprehensive, multi-year Quality Control (QC) program is underway across multiple international institutes to evaluate these ITk strip sensors for mechanical and electrical conformity. The QC process includes IV/CV characterization, full strip tests, long-term current stability monitoring, visual inspection, and metrology tests. To manage the high throughput of about 500 sensors per month, the collaboration has implemented standardized test procedures, software packages for data monitoring and integrity checks, unified data formats, and automated analysis tools. The standardization ensures consistent pass/fail evaluation and centralized data handling that enables effective identification of trends and anomalies at all sites during the production. This contribution presents an overview of the ITk strip sensor production and QC framework, along with key findings throughout the whole production, such as charge-up of sensors, stability of the leakage currents, nonrecoverable IV breakdown, and low inter-strip isolation within wafers. It provides insights into sensor yield, quality trends, and reviews specific case studies, such as p-stop doping non-uniformity. Over 91% of the production, totaling over 590 batches, were tested and accepted. Six batches were rejected. These account for 2.8% of the total tested sensors.

No evidence for an excess of events over background is observed for either signal decay. Upper limits at 90% confidence level are set on the branching fractions: \begin{align} {\cal{B}}(B^+\toμ^+ν_μγ)_{E_γ^\ast > 1\,\rm{GeV}} &< 4.0 \times 10^{-6},\\ {\cal{B}}(B_c^+\toμ^+ν_μγ)_{E_γ^\ast > 1\,\rm{GeV}} &< 1.6 \times 10^{-3}, \end{align} where the photon energy in the $B$-meson rest frame, $E_γ^\ast$, is required to be greater than $1~{\rm GeV}$. This constitutes the first search for these decays at a hadron collider and the first experimental investigation of the $B_c^+\toμ^+ν_μγ$ decay to date.

It is found by analyzing $(2712.4 \pm 14.3)\times10^{6}$ $ψ(3686)$ events accumulated at the BESIII detector. The measured branching fraction of $η_c\to p\bar{p}η$ via $ψ(3686) \to γp \bar{p} η$ is significantly influenced by the interference between the resonant $η_c$ decay and the non-resonant process $ψ(3686) \to γp \bar{p} η$ and is measured in both constructive- and destructive-interference scenarios. The joint branching fraction of $ψ(3686)\to γη_c$, $η_c\to p\bar{p}η$ is measured to be $(3.2 \pm 0.1 \pm 0.9)\times10^{-6}$ or $(8.7 \pm 0.3 \pm 2.1)\times10^{-6}$ for constructive- or destructive-interference solutions, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The branching fraction of $η_c\to p\bar{p}η$ is determined to be $\mathcal{B}(η_c\to p\bar{p}η)=(0.90 \pm 0.04 \pm 0.21 \pm 0.13)\times10^{-3}$ or $(2.42 \pm 0.07 \pm 0.48 \pm 0.34)\times10^{-3}$ for the two solutions, respectively, where the third uncertainties are due to the uncertainty in the branching fraction of $ψ(3686)\to γη_c$.

We present the first joint measurement of muon neutrino CC$0πNp$ interactions on carbon and oxygen targets, in two double-differential kinematic imbalance (KI) observable spaces, $δp_{T}$-$δα_{T}$ and $p_{N}$-$\cosθ_μ$. The measurement employs the ND280 detector of the T2K experiment and includes a detailed description of the event selection used to define signal and control regions, the evaluation of systematic uncertainties, and the signal extraction procedure, together with validation studies supporting a robust cross-section measurement. The results of this analysis indicate that current neutrino-nucleus interaction models do not adequately describe the data, and demonstrate the strong discriminating power of KI observables. This measurement highlights the need for improved theoretical nuclear modeling within neutrino interaction generators to achieve increased precision in neutrino oscillation measurements.

We report the first measurement of muon-neutrino charged-current cross section as a function of kinematic imbalance (KI) observables on oxygen with no pions and at least one proton in the final state, using the T2K ND280 detector. The cross section is extracted simultaneously for carbon and oxygen targets and double-differentially as a function of several KI observables, providing new insight into the modeling of nuclear effects. This joint measurement offers direct sensitivity to the correlations between two targets, a key ingredient for reducing systematic uncertainties in neutrino oscillation experiments that employ multiple target nuclei, such as T2K and Hyper-Kamiokande. Comparisons with predictions from widely used neutrino event generators show that none of the models fully describe the data across all regions of measured phase space. These results highlight possible directions where improvements in neutrino-nucleus interaction modeling are needed for current and future neutrino oscillation experiments.

The masses and widths of the three high-mass states, modeled with Breit--Wigner line shapes, are determined. The proton's spin structure has proven to be far more complicated than was originally believed, and has been the subject of a number of experimental investigations. %Early measurements of the proton's spin structure function $g_1$ showed that the proton does not solely derive its spin from the spins of its quarks, starting the `proton spin crisis'. Of particular interest are the spin structure functions $g_1$ and $g_2$, which can be used to generate moments to directly compare experimental results to Chiral Perturbation Theory and other theories of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). The proton's $g_1$ structure function has been the subject of two other recent low momentum transfer experiments, but there are currently no published low momentum transfer measurements which collected data on the proton structure functions using both a longitudinally-polarized and a transversely-polarized target at the same kinematics. In this paper, we present the longitudinally polarized results of the Jefferson Lab E08-027 experiment, along with linked moments which combine this new result with the previously published transversely-polarized data from the same experiment. These results provide a proton $g_1$ extraction measured with very high precision across the resonance region, and provide new information on the value of $g_1$ dependent sum rules and moments.

The measured branching fractions are $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c0} \to pK^{-}\barΛη+ \mathrm{c.c.}) = (5.3 \pm 0.7 \pm 0.5) \times 10^{-5}$, $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1} \to pK^{-}\barΛη+ \mathrm{c.c.}) = (9.8 \pm 0.6 \pm 0.6) \times 10^{-5}$, and $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c2} \to pK^{-}\barΛη+ \mathrm{c.c.}) = (9.3 \pm 0.6 \pm 0.6) \times 10^{-5}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. Structures consistent with the known hyperon resonances $Λ(1520)$ and $\barΛ(1690)$ are seen in the $pK^{-}$ and $\barΛη$ invariant mass spectra, respectively. The reported branching fractions include both resonant and non-resonant contributions. These results provide new experimental information on hadronic decays of $P$-wave charmonium states and contribute to the understanding of baryon production and hadronization dynamics in the nonperturbative QCD regime.

We report a measurement of the Born cross section and the effective form factor for the $e^+e^-\to p\bar{p}$ reaction at 47 center-of-mass energies between 3.510 and 4.946 GeV. The measurement is performed using the energy-scan technique and is based on data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 26 fb\(^{-1}\) collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. For the first time, the moduli of the electromagnetic form factor ratio $|G_{E}/G_{M}|$ and of the magnetic form factor $|G_{M}|$ are determined with high precision by analyzing the distribution of the polar angle of the proton at a large timelike momentum transfer.
These results provide essential insights into the nature of charmonium(-like) states above the open-charm threshold and the dynamics underlying the proton electromagnetic form factors.

We search for possible charmonium(-like) states decaying into the $p\bar{p}$ final state by studying the Born cross sections of the $e^+e^-\to p\bar{p}$ reaction, and we determine the proton electromagnetic form factors by analyzing the proton angular distribution. The measurement is performed using a sample of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at 47 center-of-mass energies from 3.510 to 4.946 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 26 fb$^{-1}$, recorded by the BESIII detector collected at the BEPCII collider. The decay $ψ(3770)\to p\bar{p}$ is observed with a significance of 6.6$σ$ including systematic uncertainties. Furthermore, a structure near 4.2 GeV is observed with significances of $4.6σ$ or $4.8σ$ for the $ψ(4160)$ or $Y(4230)$ hypotheses including systematic uncertainties, respectively; these interpretations cannot presently be distinguished. In addition, the moduli of the form factor ratios $|G_{E}/G_{M}|$ and of the magnetic form factors $|G_{M}|$ are extracted by analyzing the proton polar angle distribution with higher precision at large time-like squared momentum transfer. These results provide important experimental insights into both the decay mechanisms of charmonium(-like) states in the open charm region and the internal structure of proton.

Using $20.3~{\rm fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.773~{\rm GeV}$, we perform the first amplitude analysis of the decay $D^+\toπ^+ηη$. The intermediate process $D^+\to a_0(980)^+η$, $a_0(980)^+\toπ^+η$, is observed as the only significant component in the amplitude analysis, and its branching fraction is measured to be $(3.67\pm0.12_{\rm stat}\pm0.06_{\rm syst})\times10^{-3}$. The $π^+η$ mass spectrum associated with $a_0(980)^+η$ production exhibits a line shape that differs substantially from those observed in $D_{(s)}\to a_0(980)π$ and $D^0\to a_0(980)^-e^+ν_e$ decays. We examine several conventional descriptions of the $a_0(980)$ amplitude, including Flatté, dispersively modified Flatté, $T$-matrix, and $K$-matrix parameterizations. With reference $a_0(980)$ parameters, neither these models nor their extensions including additional small resonant or non-resonant amplitudes reproduce the observed line shape satisfactorily. When the $a_0(980)$ parameters are allowed to float, satisfactory fits can be obtained, but the pole mass is driven well above the $K\bar K$ threshold, inconsistent with the near-threshold character of the $a_0(980)$. The results reveal a tension between fit quality and the physical pole position in conventional direct-production amplitude models.

The $e^+ e^- \to π^{0}J/ψ$ process is observed with a statistical significance of $6.1σ$, while the significance specifically attributed to $ψ(3770) \to π^{0}J/ψ$ is $4.5σ$. We measure the dressed cross section for $e^+e^- \to π^0 J/ψ$ to be $(249 \pm 44 \pm 15)~\text{fb}$ and determine the branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(ψ(3770) \to π^0 J/ψ) = (2.08 \pm 0.36 \pm 0.21\pm 0.25) \times 10^{-5}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third due to a possible interference with the $ψ(3686) \to π^{0}J/ψ$ decay. This is the first determination of this branching fraction. It lies significantly below tetraquark model predictions but aligns with calculations that incorporate meson loop effects, providing crucial insight into the isospin-violating nature of $ψ(3770)$ decays.

In the context of neutrino oscillation measurements from the T2K experiment, the off-axis near detector ND280 plays a crucial role in constraining the incoming neutrino flux and neutrino-nucleus interaction cross sections. The result is a robust control over systematic uncertainties in the fit of neutrino oscillation parameters to the data at the T2K far detector, Super-Kamiokande. This paper details the methodology and results of these constraints in the context of the latest neutrino oscillation analysis from T2K. It describes how a new neutrino cross-section model and refined flux prediction are parameterized and fit to data in new ND280 event selections. Additionally, this work reports the results of extensive robustness studies, including fits with alternative interaction models, consistency checks against publicly available cross-section measurements, and \textit{p}-value evaluations, to demonstrate the reliability and robustness of our methodology. Finally, we present a sensitivity study demonstrating that the upgraded ND280, with improved acceptance and a lower hadron threshold, may enhance future constraints and further reduce systematic uncertainties in oscillation measurements.

Using $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at 26 center-of-mass energy points between 3000.00 and $3119.88~\text{MeV}$ with the BESIII detector, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of about $440.7~\text{pb}^{-1}$, we study the cross section lineshape of $e^+e^-\to K_S^0 K^+π^-+c.c.$. The relative phases and magnitudes between $J/ψ$ strong and electromagnetic decay amplitudes are measured to be $(123.7\pm5.3)^\circ;4.31\pm0.22$ or $(-123.1\pm5.2)^\circ;4.38\pm0.22$, with corresponding branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to K_S^0 K^+π^-+c.c.)=(5.17\pm0.20)$ or $(5.36\pm0.20)\times10^{-3}$. Based on a partial wave analysis, the cross sections of $e^+e^-\to\bar K^0 K^*(892)^0+c.c.$ and $e^+e^-\to K^+ K^*(892)^-+c.c.$ are obtained. For these subprocesses, the relative phases and magnitudes are determined as $(155.2\pm15.5)^{\circ};3.67\pm0.27$ or $(-154.1\pm15.5)^{\circ};3.71\pm0.25$ and $(180.1\pm31.8)^{\circ};25.06\pm2.51$, respectively. The large relative phases deviate from the orthogonality relation expected from experiment and from the assumption of purely real amplitudes by more than $3σ$. The measured branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to\bar K^0 K^*(892)^0)+c.c.=(4.18\pm0.18)$ or $(4.31\pm0.19)\times10^{-3}$, $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to K^+ K^*(892)^-+c.c.)=(7.09\pm0.28)\times10^{-3}$ are all consistent with the world average values, but achieve better than a twofold improvement in precision. The ratios between the branching fractions of $J/ψ\to\bar K^0 K^*(892)^0+c.c.$ and $J/ψ\to\bar K^+ K^*(892)^-+c.c.$ are $\mathcal{R}_{K^*\bar{K}}=0.589\pm0.012$ or $0.612\pm0.013$. After subtracting the electromagnetic contribution, the corresponding strong amplitude ratios are $\mathcal{R}^{3g}_{K^*\bar{K}}=0.884\pm0.050$ or $0.909\pm0.044$, which deviate $2.3$ or $2.1σ$ from the unity. No evidence for direct $CP$ violation is observed.

Unexpectedly, the phase in the neutral channel is found to be $\sim 150^\circ$, deviating from orthogonality ($90^\circ$) by 4.2$σ$ and from a relative real amplitude (0$^\circ$ or 180$^\circ$) by 10.0$σ$ or 1.6$σ$, respectively. In contrast, the charged channel phase is consistent with $\sim 180^\circ$ within 1$σ$, exhibiting model-dependent behavior. The corresponding branching fractions are consistent with the world averages but achieve better than twofold improvement in precision. The ratios between the branching fractions of $J/ψ\to\bar K^0 K^*(892)^0+c.c.$ and $J/ψ\to K^+ K^*(892)^-+c.c.$ are also measured. After subtracting the electromagnetic contribution, the corresponding strong amplitude ratios obey isospin symmetry within $1.8σ$. A search for direct $CP$ violation yields asymmetries consistent with zero.

The branching fraction is determined to be $\mathcal{B}({D_s^+ \to τ^+ ν_τ}) = (5.37 \pm 0.08_{\rm stat} \pm 0.06_{\rm syst})$ %. The product of the modulus of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ and the $D_s^+$ decay constant $f_{D_s^+}$ is measured to be $f_{D_s^+} |V_{cs}| = (248.2 \pm 1.9_{\rm stat} \pm 1.4_{\rm syst} \pm 0.6_{\rm input} \pm 0.8_{\rm EM})$ MeV. Both the branching fraction and the product $f_{D_s^+} |V_{cs}|$ are the most precise results yet obtained. Then, taking $f_{D_s^+}$ from lattice quantum chromodynamics calculations results in $|V_{cs}| = 0.993 \pm 0.008_{\rm stat} \pm 0.006_{\rm syst} \pm 0.003_{\rm input} \pm 0.003_{\rm EM}$. Conversely, one finds $f_{D_s^+} = (255.0 \pm 1.9_{\rm stat} \pm 1.4_{\rm syst} \pm 0.6_{\rm input} \pm 0.8_{\rm EM})$ MeV when taking $|V_{cs}|$ from the CKMfitter group as an input. Combining with the world average value of $D_s^+ \to μ^+ ν_μ$, the ratio of the branching fractions between $D_s^+ \to τ^+ ν_τ$ and $D_s^+ \to μ^+ ν_μ$ is estimated to be $10.04 \pm 0.29$, which is consistent with the Standard Model prediction of lepton flavor universality.

Abstract:
A measurement of the ratio of semileptonic branching fractions $\mathcal{R}(Jψ)$, defined as $\mathcal{R}(J/ψ) \equiv \mathcal{B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψτ^+ ν_τ)/\mathcal{B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψμ^+ ν_μ)$, is reported using a sample of proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb$^{-1}$ recorded by the LHCb experiment in 2016--2018 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The measured value is found to be $\mathcal{R}(J/ψ) = 0.51 \pm 0.12\text{(stat)} \pm 0.08\text{(syst)}$, which is within 1.8 standard deviations of the predictions from the Standard Model assuming lepton flavor universality.

Chirality lies at the heart of low-energy QCD, governing the symmetry structure that shapes hadron masses and strong interaction dynamics. Among the most compelling open questions tied to chiral dynamics and spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking is the longstanding $Λ$ polarization puzzle, in which $Λ$ hyperons produced in unpolarized hadronic collisions exhibit a surprisingly large transverse polarization that remains theoretically unexplained. This whitepaper presents the proposal for the Hyperon-Nucleon Spectrometer (H-NS) at the High-Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF). Leveraging the high energy and high intensity of HIAF's proton and heavy-ion beams, the H-NS experiment will perform systematic studies of hyperon polarization phenomena and their underlying mechanisms in proton-proton ($pp$), proton-nucleus ($pA$), and nucleus-nucleus ($AA$) collisions in the fixed target mode. A wide-range beam energy scan, including proton beams from 3 GeV up to 9.3 GeV (HIAF) and up to 32 GeV (upgraded HIAF), will be conducted to examine the dependence of polarization on collision energy. The spectrometer is designed with specialized detectors capable of high-precision reconstruction of final-state baryon polarizations. Among its many interesting and important measurements, H-NS will simultaneously measure hyperon and proton spin observables to explore the polarization mechanism in hadronic interactions and the spin structure of baryons. Furthermore, the use of $pA$ and $AA$ collisions will enable detailed investigations of cold and hot nuclear matter effects on spin polarization. Its physics program and detector development will significantly benefit the future Electron-ion Collider in China.

This letter reports a study of associated $Z$ boson and prompt $J/ψ$ production in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the LHCb detector in the forward rapidity region, using a data sample taken during 2016 to 2018 corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $5.1 \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The measured fiducial cross-section is $5.5 \pm 1.5$ pb, significantly exceeding the single-parton scattering expectation of $0.10 \pm 0.08$ pb, indicating that multiparton interactions dominate this process in the explored phase space. Interpreted within the standard double-parton scattering framework, the data yields an effective cross-section $σ_{\mathrm{eff}} = 16.6 \pm 4.7$ mb. This provides a direct experimental constraint on the transverse spatial structure of the proton in a kinematic regime characterized simultaneously by small Bjorken-$x$ and an electroweak hard scale set by the $Z$ boson mass.

The onset of nuclear effects in light-ion collisions is studied by measuring the ratio of $D^0$ meson production between NeNe and OO collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $5.36\,{\rm TeV}$ recorded by the LHCb detector. The $D^0$ meson yields are measured differentially in transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) for $0.5<p_{\rm T}<20\,{\rm GeV}$ in the rapidity ($y$) region $2.0<y<4.5$, and are normalized to the total number of recorded inelastic nucleus-nucleus collisions in each data sample. The resulting production ratio shows evidence of variation as a function of $p_{\rm T}$, which is inconsistent with predictions based on nuclear modification of nucleon structure alone. This measurement is consistent with the onset of quark-gluon plasma production with increasing nucleus size in high-energy nuclear collisions.
