Thanks for the PR @tpanetti, is there a way to confirm this won't be a breaking change for legacy versions? Though we generally prefer to support latest version if need to choose, I'd like to be prudent as we didn't have any other requests for fixing this. |

This adds a check for confluent.cloud that changes authentication to match the requested "basic" header.
