Hello AUR is the community repository of source packages for Arch Linux. The distribution of AUR is the PKGBUILD (Equivalent to RPM .spec files) files and a git with other manifests. Builds are done on user machine using So user compiles the package and if you (upstream) updates it, I'm responsible to update it. Users also can flag the package as outdated, so users can also notify me if its outdated. |
