Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js (v18 or higher)
  • npm

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone
  1. Navigate to the project directory:
cd Portfolio_site
  1. Install dependencies:
npm install
  1. Create a .env file in the root directory and add your environment variables:
# Example environment variables (check .env.example)
NEXT_PUBLIC_EMAILJS_SERVICE_ID=your_service_id
NEXT_PUBLIC_EMAILJS_TEMPLATE_ID=your_template_id
NEXT_PUBLIC_EMAILJS_PUBLIC_KEY=your_public_key
  1. Start the development server:
npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to see the result.

Build and Deployment

To build the project for production:

npm run build

To start the production server:

npm start

Build the image

docker build -t community-portfolio .

Run the container

docker run -p 3000:3000 community-portfolio
