Commons:Deletion requests/2012 photograph of Helmut Dietl and Kriss Sheridan

Permission for this photograph (and the second file which is a cropped version) was allegedly provided in Ticket:2012020810004213. However, it was later found this month after re-evaluating the ticket, that the permission was not sent from the photographer (listed in the Exif data as Jurgen Olczyk). The ticket needed to be accompanied by an explanation of how rights were transferred from photographer to the ticket emailer, however, it wasn't, so it needs to be assumed that the photographer Olczyk still holds their rights and reserves all of them. There is consensus within the discussion notes inside the ticket that the information provided is insufficient. See also OTRS noticeboard discussion (permalink).

If anyone was interested in preserving this file, to confirm the free license, Olczyk would need to be contacted and in writing to Commons:OTRS he should: (a) release the image under a free license explicitly, or (b) explain that he gave up/sold/transferred rights.
