Diti[edit]

I used TestWiki to test SUL, but it seems that it wasn't a test at all. So I request a delete of my SUL account Diti (reason).
Additionnally, I don't know where to find locale bureaucrats. Zero-contrib accounts that need to be deleted (in order to make them available) are bg:Потребител:Diti, pl:Wikipedysta:Diti, sq:Përdoruesi:Diti, it:Utente:Diti and —I know there is a bureaucrat on this wiki, but I don't know where to find him— de:Benutzer:Diti.

Hello, I have my main account called Klymene on the French Wikipédia and I did the procedure to get an account on all wikiprojects (I also had an account on the Wikiversity with the name Klymene) but my account on the English Wiki was name FrKlymene because the name Klymene was not anymore available : User:Klymene has no user page, no talk page and absolutely no contributions (I even think it may be me that created the account once upon a time but I don't remember anymore, and I cannot guess the password). So please can you delete the account FrKlymene and turn the account User:Klymene into my main account or free it so that I can use it. Hello, if I understand this correctly You want on en.wiki: "Klymene" moved to something else and "FrKlymene" moved to "Klymene". For that Your global account would have to be deleted, but You have several (4) accounts that were created automatically with sul (when logging to a wiki the first time) and due to bug 14330 this might be a problem because the passwords and/or email could get lost and these accounts would block then the sul again. I have a serious issue with the SUL. I'm SolyentGreen at commons.wikimedia and Soylentgreen at de.wikbooks.org. No I do really have a problem, because I should have moved my Soylentgreen at de.wikibooks.org before activation of the global name SoylentGreen. So - I need to let the global SoylenGreen be removed. Than I will get myself renamed to SoylentGreen at de.wikibooks.org. But - at meta.wikimedia there is another SoylentGreen, so how can I prove that it's my SUL?


After I have myself renamed at de.wikibooks.org (where I have a few thousand edits), I will activate the SUL again.

Hello, my "global account" (?) is "Ziko", and I was told that my en.WP user name "Ziko-en" cannot be renamed to "Ziko" unless my "global account" is deleted. But does that mean that all my editing history will be deleted? In "Meta" I am "Ziko-W". Another problem I have with Commons, where I am "Ziko-C", and where I unfortunately asked to merge. I am already aware of this case, Tourbillon wrote about it on our village pump. Look this log as well. From the statistics I see, my colleague Tourbillon on bg.wikipedia (with 4559 edits, this is the home wiki!) is Tourbillon (at least) on cv.wikipedia, mk.wikipedia, commons, sv.wikipedia (look at the userpages). Do you mean the account Tourbillon? Yes, SUL is activated for this account, but not by the user with most edits. In case that it's not clear, my colleague doesn't want the Tangra~ account, he wants to have the Tourbillon account for himself but someone snatched it from under his nose :-) And I think this is a well grounded desire, having in mind his 4500+ edits and participation over other projects. I made a little investigation here and discovered the email of the SUL owner. I wrote him a kind request, which can be read there, as well. I do hope that the person will be kind enough to free the account...

I just read this; from w:Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard#SUL; where we stand, by w:User:Rdsmith4. I had just previously done an SUL unification on 33 accounts with 2 loose ends, leaving me in partial territory; the ones that did not integrate, because they are not mine, are ml:User:Jack Merridew (blocked as a vandal) and bs:User:Jack Merridew (no edits). These are both Grawp; ask Lar and Herby. I also created a guest account; su:User:Jack Merridew post SUL.

I have done a bunch of usurpations on accounts that el grawpo created. I have looked around ml:wp; it's bewildering. I would like help. What I would like is for these last two accounts to be gone and be open to me as needed via SUL.

Thanks. I did the SUL process to prevent the creation of additional 'Jack Merridew' accounts. The usurpations I've done so far involved creating a 'JackMerridew TEMP' account and making the request; I've done this 6 times. Once I completed those usurps, i.e. no TEMP accounts left, I did the SUL figuring that I could do the remaining 2 without the finishline moving due to yet more impersonator accounts being created. My reading of the bug reports re this process have me concerned that, if I create further TEMP accounts on those 2 wikis, I won't be able to get them renamed to the SUL account. I've be able to find my way around on wikis where I don't speak the language only after creating an account and finding the language preference. Grawp reads my posts, and has reacted to them. I warned Herby about a sleeper of his, User:Senang Hati that had no edits only one edit at that point, and it promptly ran amok before my warning was acted on.
At this point, my primary concern is that I might make some misstep in sorting these last two accounts that will mess things up, so I want to talk before acting. I'll go find the ml.wp request you made and look at the bs.wp link above. Terima kasih.

If You need Your SUL to be deleted due to some renames we would need to wait until that bug is solved (two accounts were created automatically). Yup, saw that and thanked him there; you, too. I've got the account there and even made a useful edit.
I have emailed w:bs:User:Emx via the email link on commons:User:Emx; I can't email to users directly on bs:wp without an account there; again, loath to create due to bug. I have looked at all the bs:wp 'crat user pages and Emx was the only one I could confirm as being the same as another wiki user of the same name via the SUL tool. I've not heard back from the Bosnian Wikipedia and was rather hoping that someone (hint) could drop a note there?
