geckodriver is an implementation of WebDriver, and WebDriver can be used for widely different purposes. How you invoke geckodriver largely depends on your use case. If you are using geckodriver through Selenium, you must ensure that you have version 3.11 or greater. Because geckodriver implements the W3C WebDriver standard and not the same Selenium wire protocol older drivers are using, you may experience incompatibilities and migration problems when making the switch from FirefoxDriver to geckodriver. Generally speaking, Selenium 3 enabled geckodriver as the default WebDriver implementation for Firefox. With the release of Firefox 47, FirefoxDriver had to be discontinued for its lack of support for the new multi-processing architecture in Gecko. Since geckodriver is a separate HTTP server that is a complete remote end implementation of WebDriver, it is possible to avoid using the Selenium remote server if you have no requirements to distribute processes across a matrix of systems. -

Lighthouse collects modern performance metrics and insights on developer best practices; auditing for performance, accessibility, SEO and more. After auditing it produces a report either in JSON or HTML. Included in the report is a reference doc that explains the importance of the audit and how to fix the problem areas, which you can use to improve the web app or web page. Lighthouse can be integrated directly into the Chrome DevTools with its own panel. To run it, you would simply have to select the Lighthouse panel and click on "Generate report". It can also be run from the command line, or as a Node module. -

With the JSONView extension, JSON documents are shown in the browser similar to how XML documents are shown. The document is formatted, highlighted, and arrays and objects can be collapsed. Even if the JSON document contains errors, JSONView will still show the raw text. JSONView is a Web extension compatible with Firefox and Google Chrome that helps you view JSON documents in the browser. Once you've got JSONView installed, check out the example JSON file to see the extension in action! If you'd like to contribute to JSONView but don't want to code, consider contributing a translation. Copy the existing localization files from src/_locale and fill them in for your own language, then send a pull request. You can do it all from the GitHub interface. All HTTP functions, such as Tesla.get/3 and Tesla.post/4, can take a dynamic client as the first argument. This allows using convenient syntax for modifying the behavior in runtime. Tesla supports multiple HTTP adapter that do the actual HTTP request processing. Each piece of the stream will be encoded as JSON and sent as a new line (conforming to JSON stream format). You can set the adapter to Tesla.Mock in tests. -
