Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp-mail.outlook.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

Seem to get this (or similar) error frequently. It's like the things I set randomly revert or change. Have sent images of settings. I certainly don't know what to do.

Just got another error: Connection to imap-mail.outlook.com timed out.

Baffled.

Change the incoming to outlook.office365.com and the outgoing to smtp.office365.com.

I've tried Copilot, ChatGPT, websites, Microsoft support, and everything I can find to get these server addresses. Everybody has different ones. I hope these are correct. Thank you.
