I am using Version 146.0, released December 9, 2025, on a Win 11 Pro, v. 25H2 pc. No problems until today. Messages won't download from two AT&T (ameritech.net) accounts. T-bird is not asking for mail key. No change after restarting T-bird; same result after rebooting pc. How do I restore email access? Thanks.

This makes at least 3 of us here today posting about Thunderbird - AT&T mail issues. I haven't been able to send or receive mail all day with Thunderbird.

Try changing the authentication method on the incoming and outgoing to OAuth2.

Enter the account password, not the secure mail key, in the OAuth window when asked for access.

Thanks for responding. I needed to restart or shutdown before trying your solution. After a complete "shutdown," all functions returned to normal.
