Educo provided a thoughtful, well-organized private tutoring experience. I felt communication was clear and sessions were purposeful. We would recommend.
Better than expected
We were not completely sure what to expect with online tutoring but this worked out really well. My son is easily distracted but his tutor (Brian) kept him engaged the whole time. He actually looked forward to the sessions which never happened with tutors in the past. I think his tutor does a great job of building rapport with students. My son ended up with a 33 on the ACT when we were hoping for a 30.
Good but had to switch tutors and pricey.
The tutoring was high quality and my son's score improved from 1350 to 1480. His tutor was knowledgeable and always prepared, but we had to switch tutors due to scheduling issues. They did refund us the cost, which we are thankful for. My only hesitation in recommending is the cost - it's definitely not cheap. But if you can afford it the results are there.

Excellent communication
What I appreciated most was the transparency. Very clear communication about what to expect and how the process works. Our son worked with Dawson and saw his score go from a 29 to a 34 on the ACT. Dawson sent detailed notes after every session so we always knew what was happening.

Worth the investment
We spent a lot of time researching test prep companies before landing on Educo. What stood out was how organized everything felt from day one. Our daughter worked with Jessica and the progress reports after each session were incredibly detailed. She went from a 1290 to a 1480 over about 5 months. Not a quick fix but steady

Great for motivated students
If your kid is self-motivated and willing to do the work between sessions, this is perfect. It is not a complete solution for every student. The tutors give you everything you need but you have to actually use it. My daughter was consistent with practice and improved 140 points over the summer. Very satisfied with the experience.
Patient and knowledgeable tutor
Ashley Lane was amazing with my son who gets test anxiety. She focused on building confidence as much as content knowledge. We saw steady improvement and my son felt so much better prepared. Scored a 34 on his second attempt after a 30 on his first.
Solid program with great instructors
Daniel was our tutor and he brought a level of professionalism that we really appreciated. Every session had clear objectives and he tracked progress meticulously. My son improved from a 1340 to a 1490. The only con is the scheduling portal can be more student schedule friendly, but that's a minor complaint. The actual tutoring was excellent.
Good process
The intake process was thorough and they really took time to understand my daughter's strengths and weaknesses. Her tutor Jessica was fantastic. We noticed improvement in her practice tests within the first month. She went from a 1280 to a 1420, which got her into her reach school. The investment was worth it for us.
Good experience overall
Educo provided quality instruction and my daughter felt prepared on test day. The materials were helpful and her tutor answered questions clearly. My only feedback would be that scheduling was sometimes tricky with our timezone but they worked with us to figure it out. She improved from a 1320 to a 1450.

My tutor helped me a lot.
My tutor was really good at breaking things down. I struggled with the reading section and he gave me a lot of strategies and practice problems.

Great tutor!
Emily was awesome and made studying way less boring than I thought it would be. Actually learned how to take the test instead of just memorizing formulas.

Would recommend Brian Carter
Brian Carter was extremely committed and helpful throughout our time with Educo.
He was incredibly patient and really took the time to understand my student’s needs to help bring out the best in him. He has a wealth of knowledge on the ACT that made score improvement stable and my son was able to score a 35 on the December ACT. Brian has exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend him to anyone interested in an ACT coach.

Review of Educo.
I don’t usually write reviews, but felt like this one was worth it. The experience felt human. Questions got answered, things were explained in normal language, and my kid actually improved without burning out.

Educo Review
The highlight of Educo was the tutor. Carter does a fantastic job organizing and communicating progress after sessions. Mary was also very responsive in getting us all set up. Would recommend.

Many resources and great results
Educo was overall a good service and my daughter reached her target score in about three months. Her tutors were very knowledgable about the SAT and provided much more high-quality practice material than what’s available through the College Board, which was a big relief after she ran out of official exams. It is pricier than some of our local options, so I would recommend there more flexibility with cost.

170 point increase in 4 months with educo
We worked with educo for SAT prep and it was extremely helpful in refining my daughter’s approach to the test. They use over 20 practice exams and many questions that were close to what she saw on test day. When she took the SAT in August, she scored a 1360, and after a few months of working with Educo, she earned a 1560 on the November SAT.
Her tutor made planning easy for her so she could always stay consistent and focus on what she needs to improve on not than spend time on material she already knows. We highly recommend educo for students aiming for top scores.

Parent of a High School Student
As a parent of a high school student getting ready for the SAT, working with Educo has been a very positive experience for our family. The prep process was clearly organized from the start and helped remove a lot of uncertainty around how to prepare effectively.
We appreciated how tailored their advice and systems were. They do not use a one size approach and focus more on the specific weak areas and data pulled from the practice exams. Feedback was also thorough and progress was easy to track.
Thank you Educo for providing some peace of mind during an important stage in my child’s academic journey. We highly recommend it to families looking for results with test prep.
