It's possible that I'd introduced a bit of html on slide 4 that caused everything to go wonky. I pulled it out and it all seems okay now. Never mind! [/emilylitella] |

I've now run into this problem twice now, and am utterly baffled by it. I've built a ton of talks and only run across this twice -- in a talk I gave last summer, and in one I have to give tomorrow (and so am hoping someone might recognize this problem today!).
I use external markdown to write my talks, and my slides use either a very few highlight words or a single image; not a lot of fancy stuff. Though in this particular talk I do have one slide (slide 2) that uses a fragment highlight, so there's an extra click within that slide to highlight the key text. I also make heavy use of speaker notes -- every slide has my script in a Note field.
The weird thing that's happening is that on slide 5, the image I'm using loads fine, but the speaker notes do not -- they're blank. Then I click forward to slide 6 and get that slide's image but slide 5's notes, and things stay out of sync for the rest of the talk.
I have checked all of the spacing between slides in the .md file, and all of the "Note:" tags, and I can't see anything that would cause this. Has anyone else run across something like this?
