I'm Jakob de Maeyer, a physicist by training and beach ultimate player by heart who also sometimes happens to write software.

I run brightsky.dev, an open source and free-to-use API for weather data. Funds from GitHub sponsors help me to keep the service running without charging users or introducing quotas.

As a fun little side project, I also run spoqify.com, which allows you to remove the personalization from auto-generated Spotify playlists like Song Radio.
