Deramp step is not writing the file (timeseries_SET_tropHgt_ramp.h5) #1359

I am processing MintPy, all the steps are running fine till deramp step. The deramp step is also running and not showing any error but the final file is not properly writing. The last processing lines are as follows-

What may be the possible reason for this problem in the MintPY processing.

Did you find a solution to this problem? I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried all the suggested solutions, but it still persists.

Description of the bug

remove_ramp.py hangs indefinitely on "estimating phase ramp one date at a time..." when processing files with multiple dates. The process creates the output file but never progresses beyond the first date.

How to reproduce

Create a timeseries file with multiple dates (tested with 2, 10, and 101 dates)
Run: remove_ramp.py timeseries_file.h5 -s quadratic -m mask.h5 -o output.h5
Process hangs at ~50% (for 2 dates) or after first date (for 10+ dates)

Expected behavior

The ramp should be estimated and removed for all dates successfully.

Actual behavior

✅ 1 date (reference only): WORKS
❌ 2 dates (ref + other): FAILS (hangs at 50%)
❌ 10 dates: FAILS (hangs after 1st date)
❌ 101 dates: FAILS

Environment

MintPy version: 1.6.2 (also tested with 1.5.3, works for single dates)
Python version: 3.x
OS: Windows 10/11
Installation method: pip

Data details

Timeseries shape: (101, 3900, 4774)
Mask: coherence > 0.5 from temporalCoherence.h5
All data are geocoded (GEO coordinates)

Additional context

The same data works perfectly with version 1.5.3 for single-date processing. This appears to be a regression in 1.6.2 related to multi-date ramp estimation.
