As a college student who does part time and freelancing, I always needed a way to keep track of all my expenses so that I knew how much money came in, and how much I was spending on certain things. I wanted to be aware if I was spending more than I can afford, and I wanted to keep track of my costs of running a small freelancing business.Since there are many purchases everyday, logging expenses should be extremely easy to avoid spending so much time. There’s little point in keeping track of expenses if it takes a half hour of your day and energy. For a long time I couldn’t find a way to log my expenses fast and simple AND have everything neatly organized into categories and subcategories. And since I dread looking at lists of information, I wanted to keep everything minimal on a calendar. I used to do this in an excel spreadsheet. I hated it, but it was the best solution I found. I also hated to go through all my banking and credit apps just to log how much I had in each account. But that I could live with since I only had to do it once every week or two. I stumbled across this app and oh my. I had everything I wanted, all so simple and easy. Everything laid out in a calendar view, then the current day view, and then all my accounts. All perfect, neat, ergonomic and not an eye sore to look at. No more spending an hour just to keep my spending and accounts updated. So worth it for having the peace of mind that all your finances are in check 100% of the time with minimal effort. Very thoughtful design and functionality.

I like the soft colors because it’s not overwhelming when you look at the app. I like that you can see your income/expenses on the monthly calendar by the day and it shows at the bottom as totals. If you forget to put down either items, you can enter it anytime and change the date so it’s placed on the correct day. You can set up saving goals or budget limits for specific categories. For a few dollars, you’ll have unlimited and more access to making different expense categories, income and it saves it all on your phone without taking much space. The free version is great for people who doesn’t like to have too many categories since it only allows around 4 categories (i.e. gas, food, utilities, miscellaneous) and don’t care for much details. There’s so many things you can do with this app when it comes to your finances. This is definitely my go to. I’m able to input and delete with just a few clicks. Makes it almost effortless to keep track of my spendings and utilities on the go. Would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to track, budget and stay in control of their money. You can add additional people for this app. But I haven’t tried that out yet.

Being in my mid-20's there is a very different expectation I had from being an adult. Reality is harsh for many of us, especially living check to check and seeing no leftover for leisure. Recently, my husband and I began changing our perspective into tackling debt and being more proactive with savings. Though we felt as if we were late and had wasted time compared to friends and family, once we started budgeting and planning it all seemed fairly easy. In fact, the problem was we never set a limit to our spending or tracked it to the point we now see ourselves facing the biggest debt we have ever seen in our marriage. With a written plan in place, we needed to find an app to transcribe all of it to and of course, having always our mobile devices handy... we would be able to constantly track it. After trying multiple apps, I found myself seeing apps that were too expensive to "ironically" budget or had multiple plans that just simply put us into the mentality of "should we really be adding to our monthly spending right now when we're trying to do the opposite?". We found this app to not only have all the features we were looking for but also the developers show to have an understanding of its purpose, hence its affordability. For that I am not only grateful but glad that a one time spending can cut us off from the added preoccupation of every month of subscriptions (as we have already cut all of our streaming and in-store subscriptions). It is a great app with an extremely user friendly interface that matches its users, it is easy to read and navigate and best of it all, is that it does help you budget and TRACK accordingly. I do not have anything to suggest for now other than an agenda for iPad but other than that, the app is here to stay for us.
