Sharing a movie or favorite HBO Max series with your Discord friends has never been easier. All you need is an updated Discord app and your HBO Max subscription. The basic streaming service is accessible on Discord, but only users with a paid subscription can stream in 4K. That\u2019s why it\u2019s advisable to get a Discord Nitro account<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, you\u2019ll need to download and install the Discord app if you don\u2019t have it already. Discord for Web doesn\u2019t allow streaming.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  Streaming on Android or iPhone\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                  If you are a mobile Discord app user, don\u2019t worry, you can still stream HBO Max. The Discord mobile app allows screen sharing, so it doesn\u2019t matter if you prefer Android or iOS devices. But you\u2019ll have to open HBO Max in a browser and share it from there, just like you did with the desktop Discord app. Here\u2019s how:\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Discord sometimes displays a black screen when streaming DRM-protected content. It\u2019s annoying because although you can share HBO Max, your Discord friends will only see a black color across their entire screen. To eliminate the black screen problem, disable hardware acceleration in your browser or the Discord app. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
