If you no longer wish to use a payment card with Apple Pay, you can remove it at any time. Removing and re-adding a payment card could also resolve Apple Pay malfunction or failure<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tutorial will show you how to remove cards from Apple Pay on supported Apple devices.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remove Card from Apple Pay on iPhone\/iPad\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways to remove Apple Pay cards on iPhones\/iPads: from the Wallet or Settings app.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remove Apple Pay Card from Wallet\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the Wallet app<\/span> and tap the card you want to remove.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tap the More icon<\/span> in the top-right corner and select Card Details<\/span>.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    1. Scroll down the page and tap Remove Card<\/span>.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

          Remove Apple Pay Card on Apple Watch\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          You can remove a card from your Apple Watch<\/a> in the Wallet app or on your iPhone.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Remove Payment Card on Apple Watch\n<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          Unlock your Apple Watch and follow the steps below.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              2. Check the \u201cPayment Cards On Your Watch\u201d section and choose the card you want to delete.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                  Remove Apple Pay Card on Mac\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                  Deleting a credit or debit card linked to Apple Pay on Mac computers is equally straightforward.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Open the System Settings<\/span> or System Preferences<\/span> app on your Mac.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Select Wallet & Apple Pay<\/span> in the sidebar and choose the card you want to remove.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                      1. Select Delete<\/span> on the confirmation pop-up to remove the payment card from Apple Pay.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                        Note that removing a card from Apple Pay deletes the card\u2019s transaction history in the Wallet app.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Why Apple Might Remove Your Card(s)\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                        There are instances when Apple automatically removes payment cards from your device. For example, signing out of iCloud\/Apple ID deletes payment cards added to your device. Likewise, turning off Touch ID or passcode on your iPhone or iPad removes your debit or credit card.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Apple could also remove your card if it gets deactivated, expires, or your bank no longer supports Apple Pay.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        If your device(s) gets lost or stolen, call your bank or card issuer to remove your cards from Apple Pay remotely.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
