AI Twin App – Privacy Policy

Introduction

This privacy policy applies specifically to the AI Twin app by Daygames. It explains how we handle face image data and AR input used to generate personalized AI images. AI Twin processes visual data only for the purpose of delivering core features and does not use biometric identifiers or facial recognition technologies.

1. Face Image Collection and Use

AI Twin requests facial images from users as part of its AI photo generation feature.

Images are used to:

  • Validate that the user’s pose matches the required angle during AR capture
  • Send to a third-party service to generate a personalized AI model

We do not collect or store:

  • Biometric templates
  • Facial recognition data
  • Facial geometry or expressions

Images are temporarily stored (typically 3–10 minutes), used only for AI model training, and deleted immediately afterward.

2. Use of Apple TrueDepth API

AI Twin uses Apple’s TrueDepth camera system only to assist with pose validation during AR capture.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

  • Depth maps
  • Face mesh or geometry
  • Facial expression data
  • Any biometric identifiers

TrueDepth data is:

  • Processed on-device
  • Used only in temporary memory (RAM)
  • Discarded immediately after each session

We do not use TrueDepth data for facial recognition, tracking, or profiling.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We only share face images with Replicate, a third-party AI model hosting service, strictly for the purpose of training a personalized photo generation model.

  • Images are sent via secure, SSL-encrypted connection
  • Images are deleted from Replicate after training
  • Images are deleted from our servers immediately after processing

We do not share facial images or personal data with any other third parties.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Facial images are stored temporarily for 3–10 minutes
  • Once AI training is complete, all image data is permanently deleted
  • You may request deletion of any other user data by contacting support or by using “delete all data” option within the app

You can contact us at any time to:

  • Review what data we have about you
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Ask questions about our data handling practices
