If the organiser makes a false statement under regulation 23(6), the organiser commits an offence and is liable—

(a)

on summary conviction, to a fine in England and Wales, or in Scotland and Northern Ireland to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum;

(b)

on conviction on indictment, to a fine.
