Discussion: Sockpuppet policy breach

Reason(s): The first user account's only contribution is creating the article w:ro:Simbol Dragobete. When an AfD on this article was opened, the other two appeared and the only thing they did on ro.wp is oppose the AfD. I suspect sockpuppetting. Andrei Stroe (talk) 14:20, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Reason(s): User accounts with similar names created in order to vandalise the same article (see Hunor Kelemen: Revision history) and to evade blocking for repeated deletions, obscenities and 3RR violation. Pafsanias (talk) 10:16, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

Reason(s): fa:User:Qom was recently blocked for 1 year because of copyvio; he copied articles from another non-copyleft wiki and the subject of most articles were about people whose last name implies being related to the city of Khansar. Recently a number of other accounts have also created similar articles including fa:User:Mohsens, a user active from years ago, and fa:User:Khansar121 which is also not a new account. Had these been new accounts, WP:DUCK might apply but given the circumstances, a check is needed to (a) verify they are the same and (b) identify other socks. I am also adding Sibetorsh and Benitass and Sahebeorve because they were closed as socks per WP:DUCK and their info may be helpful for the check. Reason(s): According to community discussion who asks check user of the above mentioned, for extended edit wars on athletic articles and articles for tv channels, edit's profound confusion, creation of new puppet accounts to continue editing after blocking and their connection to the above mentioned IPs Kalogeropoulos (talk) 19:00, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

There's enough behavioural evidence to check the IPs and Hanno, but the results are inconclusive due to mobile range / public IP use. Judging from the edit histories of the users in question, it is more likely that you are dealing with a local content dispute than sockpuppets here. Ajraddatz (talk) 19:36, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

Reason(s): Suspicious disruptive behaviour of these users was brought to light in the above discussion by Ur:User:Abdulqayyumfsc. These account holders (including Sher Aziz with block record ), are bent on removing information from Khowar language and personality articles.
