I think this is a great concept to keep Americans in the loops of the current going ons of the government, but it could also become an extremely dangerous propaganda tool if ran solely by the party in power. Additionally the app has some kinks it needs to wirk out, the UI is stuttery when scrolling and I coukd see the potential for it being inaccessible due to its font, letter sizing, and color selection, especially given the fact its primarily going to be used on cell phones.

I've only run into one issue. While watching a live video my screen turned off due to inactivity. I had to periodically touch the screen to prevent this from happening again. I read through all of the 1 star reviews about an hour ago (so there are probably a few more now) and none of the complaints held true on my end. The social section was quick to loadANDlocation tracking wasn't even requested by the app and cannot be given in the settings (the only permission the app wants is notifications).

Very useful information to stay informed. Very nice design. Unlike any other application! Google asked me if I could read offline, not seeing that option yet. Also, not sure if I could receive alerts if LTE networks are down, that would be a handy feature to have. National Security should be a part of the design within the app to have the ability to receive a notification capable of communicating via a different radio frequency band. Continuity is important.
