It's a very new and beautifully finished hotel with incredibly friendly staff. There is one pool near the garden which is very refreshing and a pool on the roof near the spa which is quite hot. I heard none of the neighbours during the night and the beds are quite firm which I personally find very comfortable I would certainly recommend staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at Kamunjila Lodge in Zambia—such a peaceful and welcoming place. The garden is lush and beautifully kept, creating a true little oasis. The room was spacious, clean, and full of charm. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel right at home. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Livingstone!

In a beautiful location next to the Zambezi river. Zebras and giraffes wandering the grounds. Hotel residents have free access to the national park where you can walk along a path with excellent view of Victoria falls. We stayed in February and the falls on the Zambia side were very impressive and although it was misty this didn’t obscure the views.

Avani Victoria Falls Resort didn't disappoint as I stayed here 12 years ago and it is still an amazing place to stay as the Victoria Falls is right behind the resort and you can go there as many times as you like for free staying at this place where as on the Zimbabwe side you have to pay and can only go once. Loved the zebras just wondering about the resort. Rooms are clean and bright, breakfast plenty to choose from and very friendly staff we all loved our stay.

I was very happy I chose this lodge in a Nature Reserve a short distance from the center of Livingstone. With a herd of monkeys who were always curious and playful around the bungalow, and elephants in the immediate area. I really found harmony and contact with nature, and it was nice to be here instead of the center of Livingstone. There are big good quality mosquito nets in the bungalows and repelleant is sprayed before bedtime, so don't worry about mosquito bites at night. It is important to know that on the Zambian side of the border you have 2 unique attractions that you cannot find on the more visited Zimbabwean side: 1) The "microlight fly" (a motorized hangglider) experience over the Victoria Falls is what can only be described as truly breathtaking. The lodge is only a few hundred meters from the Batoka airstrip where you fly out to the Victora Falls and over the Zambezi River. 2) The "Devil's pool" where you get your amazing Instagram photos from the top edge of Victoria Falls. You absolutely must experience these 2 on the Zambian side - remember that you must have a visa on the Zimbabwean side, and you must have a multiple entry visa if you are going in and out of Zimbabwe more than once. The Zambian side is also much cheaper, especially on food and drinks, and feels even safer than the Zimbabwean side. There are many good reasons to spend a few days on Zambia's side, unlike what many tourists do - and it feels liberating. I have traveled 130+ countries, so I appreciate what's genuine. Darius (the owner) is a book of his own. You will not find a more nice and helpful person. He helps you with absolutely everything, and please start planning before your arrival, as some of the attractions and available times are sold out days in advance. He can also put together larger travel packages including safaris in Zambia and neighboring countries, both for single people and large groups.

Our stay was wonderful. The accommodation was comfortable and beautifully decorated. I especially liked the little houses designed in the style of traditional African huts. The host was extremely kind, responsive, and also organized a trip for us, which made our stay even more special. I would gladly return and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a pleasant, carefree stay away from the city crowds.

Zambezi Dusk is located on a beautiful property with views of frequent visits from elephant, buffalo, and plains game right across the river. There is a spacious deck with various comfortable seating options for viewing wildlife, dining, or enjoying a drink. The food quality and presentation is that of what you would find at an upscale restaurant. We had some of our most favorite meals at Zambezi dusk and it was only 4 nights out of a 22 day stay! I can not say enough about the kitchen and wait staff! The game boat ride was a great bonus! All of the staff went above and beyond in many aspects, we can’t thank them enough. As far as location we loved that it was secluded and private exactly what we were looking for. The gardens and view from restaurant are better than pictures.

We LOVED Ngoma Zanga Lodge. It was so quiet and peaceful ,yet close to everything. The staff, Caroline,Kennedy, Martha and the chef really looked after us and treated us like family. The food was fantastic and nothing was a problem. They organised tours, taxis and recommended places. Our room was beautiful and so was the pool and garden.

Livingstone is a great place to visit where you can see a lot in a short space of time. You can choose to stay centrally in town, or at one of the many resorts along the Zambezi river. We were lucky enough to experience both! We started our trip in the centre where we enjoyed restaurants like Cafe Zambezi. We visited Victoria Falls (basically had the park to ourselves in the morning), did a Mosi-oa-Tunya game drive, and a day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Compared to a lot of other places, this was all very reasonably priced and didn't feel busy at all! You could easily do these activities in 2 days, but we did them across 3 days. All of them were 100% worth seeing! After that, we headed to one of the resorts on the river (David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa). This was significantly more expensive than staying in the centre, but we got a great price through booking.com, so splashed the cash for a couple of nights. If you can afford it, it is 100% worth doing just to be able to watch the sunset on the Zambezi from the comfort of your hotel. The staff are all wonderful and you're able to organise any of the tours I mentioned before for comparable prices here anyway. We did the Lady Livingstone dinner cruise during our stay which included all food and drinks and it was a great experience! Overall, Livingstone isn't the cheapest place to visit, but still doesn't feel too touristy and the safaris are so reasonably priced compared to others we have seen. I really recommend a visit if you can and it is easily combined with travel in Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana for a longer trip.

Livingstone is a walkable city, which is quite an advantage for the European traveller. There are several points to visit that I would recommend: the Livingstone Museum, Kubu Cafe, Wayi Wayi gallery, and WayaWaya workshop, as well as, of course Zambezi river and Victoria Falls.

We flew in just for one night and it was totally worth it. The safari was so fun. We did not spend much time with the falls, but because it was just a walk off the campus, we got to take pictures of the falls and that was fine for me...
