The cottage was really well located to access all areas of Beverley. On the end of a quiet urban road with parking straight outside and next to good dog walking areas. Very clean with well equipped kitchen, everything you could need. Loads of towels and enjoyed watching the Netflix films. Lovely bottle of wine and range of condiments left which is a real treat.

Situated in Hornsea and only 9 km from Skipsea Castle Hill, CHERRYTREE COTTAGE @ LOMOND features accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous wonderful space and attention to detail. Nice with a conservatory and garden also. Lovely touch having slippers and dressing gowns as we were there 4 nights. Location was excellent next to the mere.

Gary and Jennifer are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Backside Lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Homemade scones, biscuits, sweets, bottle water, bottle of beer and a bottle of wine waiting in the lodge for use. A lovely touch to a perfect stay. The bed was so comfortable and the lide was extremely clean. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay in York and can’t recommend this place highly enough! It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into designing the space, everything felt just right, from the cozy atmosphere to the well-thought-out details that made our stay so comfortable. Nigel was incredibly friendly and welcoming, a fantastic host from start to finish. He even picked us up and kindly offered to keep our bags before the room was ready, which saved us the hassle and cost of luggage storage. That thoughtful gesture really set the tone for a great experience. If you’re planning a trip to York, you should definitely check this place out. It made our visit extra special!

This was the second time we stayed here and it was just as great as the first. Very clean and all the finishing touches are so thoughtful. They let us know everything we needed to know in a message and left us dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods. Everything you forget is already there. It’s perfect for a big family and the dining table is so huge it’s great for board games which they supply. The beds are comfortable and it’s super helpful they have two bathrooms. It’s very much built for a big family reunion. We hope to do Christmas here every year.
