Holiday Rentals in Ascona

The terasse! So lovely to have breakfast outside when it’s sunny. Kitchen was fully equiped with an oven. Beds are a bit hard for my taste but we still slept great. Appartments was sound proof. Interior pool is a game changer.

We had a studio apartment on the ground floor. It was equipped with everything we needed for self catering. Located on the outskirts of Ascona, it is a pleasant walk from the hotel along the lake front and river into town, or over to Locarno.

Really well appointed with everything you needed. Also really personal, greeting us with umbrellas to save us getting wet go in to the door of the apartment. Beautiful location, peaceful, but only a short walk into Ascona.

Rita and Giuseppe are truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Their hospitality is second to none, combining professionalism with genuine care. The hotel’s location is superb, just a few meters from the lake and surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. It’s also within walking distance (about 3.5 km) from Locarno. The village itself offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind. Breakfast is elegant and delicious, featuring fresh seasonal fruits and a thoughtful selection of options. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.

The location is fantastic. We loved the balcony with a view of the lake. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Communication with the host is always good. Arrangements for an early checkout were easily made.

Breakfast was ample ans tue Voice, too

Great location as base for exploring surrounding area just a short walk to train/bus stations, as well as to grocery store Coop and many restaurants around. quiet with beautiful inner courtyard. There's someone at reception during the day, except weekend. The host was very quick to respond. There's laundry room at the property with a metered washer and dryer which was convenient. Just ask for coins at reception. Note that each coin will operate the washer or dryer for 30 minutes so just use more coins as necessary. Just a note for those coming in summer months, there's no aircon, didn't matter when I was there.

The apartment is spacious and right on the Lake, with unbelievable Lake views. The Staff in the restaurant (who manage the apartment) below were amazing, friendly and helpful and really made the holiday. Food in the restaurant was also amazing. Any noise from the restaurant is drowned out completely but the soundproofed patio doors. I can't recommend this apartment enough.

Both check-in and check-out were so smooth I almost forgot they happened. A couple of taps, door opens, done.I had one question, received a reply almost instantly, and never felt abandoned. Every corner feels curated: sculptural furniture, clever mood lighting, and artful décor elements that make the lobby and rooms look ready for a magazine shoot. :)) Even the tableware at breakfast is thoughtfully chosen, really stylish and high quality. The breakfast buffet: quality over quantity - fresh breads, local yoghurt, seasonal fruit, plus those elegant plates. A warm-hearted lady discreetly refreshed every dish before it even ran low (proof that attentive service still matters here). If your schedule isn’t rushed, spring for the lake-facing room. Watching Lago Maggiore from the terrace is worth every franc. I’m already planning my return.

This is the second time we are staying and we love the personal homely atmosphere. It’s friendly and personal with a cozy atmosphere, and very convenient location in the old town of Ascona. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. We especially love the layout with the interior garden which corresponds to the breakfast area. As well, the caffe / bar courtyard at the front which serves as a welcoming threshold for guests.

The property is lovely, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. I travel to Ascona often for both work and leisure, and this apartment perfectly suits both needs. The apartment was clean, functional, and super nice and cozy as the description says. Knowing Ascona and the region, it makes for a perfect winter and summer stay. It has all the amenities, and suits different type of needs. Also, the parking garage is a plus if travelling by car. I recommend it.

Great location, quiet apartment

The location was excellent for our purposes, with easy access to the lake, siwmming, Ascona town centre and (by bus or on foot) to Locarno for the film festival. The organisation, access and checkout were also very easy and flexible.

I loved staying in this apartment. Fantastic location, excellent host, comfortable bed, super clean. 5 stars!

Wanda was a wonderful host! We arrived late and did not have time to shop for food, so she gave our kids some of her cereal bars :) The property is located in a residential area, across the street from a park. It is very calm. You will need to drive (or public transit) to Locarno, but is close to the centre of Ascona and there are groceries a short drive away and easy access to other routes. The apartment was very clean and everything looks new. Our family of five was very comfortable there. We recommend!
