Hostels in Barcelona

I've always preferred Generator Hostels whenever I visit the EU. The whole vibe of their hostels have always matched what Im looking for in a place to stay. Their breakfast selection was great too.

Everything was really good. Stuff friendly and Helpfull, rooms, beds were nice and clean.

Location, locker size (28 inches available), everything is reasonable. Excellent heating. Free luggage storage after check-out (safe). Wear earphones if you are sensitive.

restaurant area great for chilling / working, great breakfast buffer for just 6,50 euros, calm during night, amazing view from the top terrace, just a few steps from Casa Batló. You can leave luggage in the very safe room.

It was the best hostel experience in my life. The staff were very friendly and always helpful with everything!! It was also really comfortable. Even though I usually have trouble falling asleep, I slept very comfortably thanks to the blackout curtains. It was also very very clean!! Like, I’ve stayed in several hostels before, and some didn’t even provide a duvet cover, but everything was perfect here. There was also lockers which is suitable for big luggage, so it was also a big advantage for me. I stayed in the 4-bed room and I totally reccomend it!! They even organized some events like beerpong and karaoke at night with a free drink!! Thank you for made me experienced such a good hostel experience the amistat family!!!

Overall clean and tidy. There are comfortable public areas. It's not far from the sea. I can walk there. It's quiet at night, so I get enough sleep.

UBS ports in bed; shower room rack for guests to put stuff while having shower; excellent WiFi; near Metro; shower room / washroom / washing basins are in separate units; good value buffet b'fast (€7); huge storage under bed.

The location was amazing! I was very happy with the room too. Very spacious, so much natural light and very comfortable! Also the common space were super good. The best stay I have been in Barcelona so far

Excellent location, very clean hostel, curtains for your privacy so it doesn't feel like a dormitory . Hotel staff at front desk and others were so respectful and very very helpful. Thanks a lot guys 🙂

I am a Solo Traveler. I have stayed in Hostels in more than 20 cities in 12 different European countries. But I have never met such excellent staff as in this hostel. And the location of the hostel is absolutely amazing. Thanks for everything.

The location is great, the staff is OK, it's clean, there are plenty of tools in the kitchen, coffee and tea are always available, it's safe.

Proximity to the center, very clean room and common areas, easy check-in and staff were very helpful even though it was just thru email.

One of the best hostels I stayed in. It has a relaxed resort campground feeling: simple but clean, friendly staff, and away from the bustling city but with good connections to it. I also enjoyed the pool and the basketball court and the very good breakfast. There is a park for hiking near the hostel aswell as a bbq restaurant.

The staff were great and I don't think there's a better location for a hostel in all of Barcelona. If you're a tourist the best hop on hop off is only a 60 second walk across the road. The train to the airport is only 2 minutes walk across the road (Under €5 to the airport). The long distance buses are about 70 seconds across the road to the rest of Europe. The hostel is in a nice bustling neighborhood with a catalan feel. A lovely small breakfast place is 15 seconds from the hostel. They make a wicked Spanish omelette sandwich. Ask the staff at reception to write what you want to eat for you on a piece of paper in Catalan to take to the restaurant ( extra brownie points if you attempt to say it when you get there) The atmosphere in there was the stuff you see in old Spanish movies. Old Spanish men enjoying life. The hostel felt safe and it was great to meet other international travellers. Pre check-in Louis was super helpful as I was meant to check in at 2am! This was idealistic budget travel. Bring your own small towel and slippers. Thanks guys. It was exactly what I needed. If you're travelling solo this is probably better than a hotel as you meet people.

From the first moment till the last one, I liked everything. The staff was very good and extremely friendly 👏🏽 The rooms are comfortable, even though there are 20+ people 😁 The bed was spacious and long enough. Next to your bed is a pretty big locker - very comfy.

My goals for the trip: Meeting new people Experience the night life Have many opportunities for activities I’m not joking, this hostel is one of the best ones I’ve been to. This hostel attracts nice and like-minded people, and that’s the most important thing! Daily activities, daily night-outs. The 4 days felt like 2 weeks, thank you so much for the time. Definitely will GET BACK TO THIS HOSTEL when visiting Barca again!
