TurkeyIt was one of the best views ever from a room I stayed in. Wengen is amazing and Hotel Alpenruhen's location is excellent. You can see the entire Lauterbrunnen valley below. Hotel is 12 mins of train ride from Lauterbrunen and then a 7-8 min slight uphill walk from Wengen train station. They pick you up and drop you off at check in and check out which is very nice. The room is spacious, modern and luxurious. Breakfast area is comfortable and food was delicious.

The team extended a most welcoming reception, and I am truly grateful for their warm hospitality. It was a distinct privilege to have access to such amazing gourmet dining conveniently located just downstairs from our rooms. The hotel's location itself is a few minutes away from Interlaken Ost train station, which was exactly what I was looking for, away from the crowds. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Everything was perfect! The location was incredible, the room was so comfy and excellent breakfast! I was not expecting a lake view but upon entering my room there it was! So beautiful :) Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed :) If I’m ever back in Iseltwald I will definitely come back here again

It is a minute walk to Lake Brienz. Not crowded. Got a feel of staying in a century old (but completely renovated to have modern amenities) chalet. Very authentic Swiss experience by the lake.

It's such a lovely place in the world.
It's such a lovely place in the world. I visited more than 4 times, It is at the heart of tourist destination and easy access to many places such as Jungfrau, Grindelwald, and so on. I really recommend people to visit Interlaken.

Its a small town, so limited things to do, places to eat, etc. But that's what I wanted, a quiet getaway. Interlaken is a fairly short train ride away for more tourist activities and shops. Easy walk to anything in Brienz.

Ringgenberg is a village to the east of Interlaken, a few minutes' bus ride from the town - and this is free with the Visitor Card provided by your accommodation. The less frequent train is one stop away and again free. Alternatively it's a 10 minute drive or a 40 minute walk along the lake. There's a small but well stocked supermarket and a vary good restaurant at the Hotel Burgseeli just into the next village. Overall a quieter and more relaxing place to stay than the centre of Interlake.

A very pretty village situated perfectly to experience everything the region has to offer. Very easy bus, train connections for getting about. Various places to eat and two good supermarkets plus a tourist info in the village. Very friendly and helpful people.

t's a spacious apartment and was ideal for me, my wife and my 2 sons. The Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy and the bunk beds were perfect for my 13 & 9 year olds. The views from the windows are beautiful and there is a balcony as well that's very convenient. They have slip ons of various sizes as well as they request no shoes inside the apartment, a very nice touch. its very close to the bus stop which takes only 10 minutes to Interlaken Ost and run every half an hour. The Hosts were nice and communicative so a big thumbs up to this property

Next to a beautiful lake, a fair few restaurants and cafes around, plenty of walks available. Plus it's pretty easy to get to by bus from Interlaken (which is beautiful as well).

Excellent stay! Carina and Christian we’re brilliant. Room was ready before check in. We arrived two hours early so just wanted to dump our bags and go but Christian checked if the room was ready and it was so he let us check in 2 hours earlier which was amazing. Both very friendly. We had drinks in our room in the evening and they always gave us ice and glass whenever we asked. Only fall back of this location is that the last bus to the hotel in Habkern from Interlaken west is at 7.05pm. If you miss that, the only way to the hotel is a cab which is a 19 min ride but costs 40th f. We got hit so beware. Other than that it is an amazing place to stay with amazing views and you also see the cows parade outside.

Bönigen was a wonderful place for our family trip.
Bönigen was a wonderful place for our family trip. It felt peaceful, scenic, and much calmer than staying directly in Interlaken, but still close enough to everything. Our favorite spots were the lakeside area along Lake Brienz, the walking paths by the water, and the Bönigen lido.

Interlaken is a convenient town for the various sightseeing locations around it. It is as expected expensive to shop around and to eat in the restaurants though the lidl shop does provide reasonable prices but the shelves are bare in the evenings.

Great town with a great selection of shops.
Great town with a great selection of shops. Coop has everything you could need. The lake is stunning. Cold and refreshing to swim in and clean. Well located for Grindelwald and the attractions around the area. The occasional unpleasant local, but you get that anywhere. Most are exceptionally nice. Plenty of parking around town - 1 CHF per hour, 8 CHF per day.
